The M&A All Furniture Raiser – AFR (Patent Pending) is the next generation of economical, multi-purpose furniture raiser. Designed to raise virtually all types of furniture, from armchairs and settees to recliner furniture, corner settees, beds of all sizes and more. The linked raiser is supplied with 2 multi-fit attachments and 8 woodscrews. The multi-fit attachment includes 7 holes for woodscrews, a central threaded hole for fitting Round Cups, a 60mm diameter surface for the VHB adhesive pads and a larger hole for recliner and riser recliner type fixings.

Accessories include:

• 60mm Round Cup for castors and small legs (MA-AFRCUP).
• 60mm Double-sided Self-adhesive Pad for plastic & metal legs (MA-AFRAP).
• Fixing Kits for Recliner or Riser Recliner Furniture (FK-RC & FK-RR respectively).
• Self-adhesive Rubber Foot for use on hard flooring (Linked version: AL-FT, Singular: MA-AFRFT).

The “golden rule” for furniture raising is to support all legs, feet or castors that were in contact with the floor before the furniture is raised. Because of this, a minimum of 2 linked or 4 individual raisers are required, but the total number may be larger depending on what arrangement the furniture your has. This quality product is manufactured in the UK from high grade steel, maintenance free and easily cleaned. Autoclave friendly, highly-reusable and recyclable.

This raiser builds upon the success of the MK1 raisers by changing the feet to very thin ellipses for improved stability, “zero trip” hazard, total access front and back for a stand-aid or trolley and the ability to support recliner furniture. With the addition of our latest attachment, it makes the raiser far more user/fitter/prescriber friendly and more cost effective. This raiser has also been independently tested for stability and as such holds the safety standard M&A5094.

Furniture raised with Morris & Alexander raisers do not need to be re-positioned against a wall for support, which is an important safety consideration when choosing any furniture raising device. Linked furniture raisers are capable of being repositioned around the room, for relocation or vacuuming purposes without fear of the raiser becoming dislodged.
